Lonely Road
I’m walking this road alone.
This life seems to be meaningless
Without his love
Trying to go back.
To the things I used to do.
But it’s impossible
And all I get
Is his memories back again.
How should I do?
How to forget him and let him go?
After having given him my all;
My every thought,
My pure and boundless love.
I can’t swim, I can’t save myself
From the deepest ocean of loneliness.

I think I’ve already commented this before but when somebody leaves, they always take something from us… And that forces us to do new things we weren’t used to, just to forget the memories

Thanks G…! Yes, you said that before. I think it’s useless trying to forget, memories will always be there. We just pretend to hide them. “Time heals all wounds” ?? I don’t really think so. But anyway, some memories are worth remembering, don’t you think? Even the sad ones, cuz are those which led me to write the most powerful thoughts.

Hi Mary… “Bird in love”, what a powerful combination of words!
Unfortunately, love is so powerful, that when it stops, the wings are gone, aren´t they?
I think that time heals SOME wounds, but not the ones of the soul. And when I say soul, I mean “this transcendent stuff” which makes us feel that we are not alone in the universe… to lose somebody we have loved so deeply that he was a part of ourself, is
perhaps worse than to lose oneself… perhaps because we don´t really exist anymore as oneself without him… there is just a big big blach hole in place of our past identity.
I´ll be here with you very often, and perhaps it will help you a tiny bit… if I knew how, I would post here a big heart in the vibrant colours of the paintings you love…

@Hi Miki!!!! Yeah.. the wings are gone, they I always find wings hiden somewhere.. Love is powerful.. yes it is!
I agree with you about the time not healing the wounds of the soul… I believe that the ones we love give us something as we give to them… (i mean, a part of ourselves) but when they are gone, it’s not that we dont exist anymore as oneself, it’s just that we lose that part that we so much loved… We have to learn to keep going… no matter what happened.. I always try to look in a possitive way to the future.. (even though some of my poems may not say the same).

I dissagree
A lonely road is a road were you lost yourself and you don’t take what has been given to you.
Beeing alone is a stait of mind.
It’s a feeling inside of you that can’t go away by filling the empty space with a person.
What you have to do is learn to love yourself and always know that no matter what you always got you and that you are a very special someone.
You are the only person you need in this world to be happy and to live your life to the fullest.
